Samantha Porter Engelken is a seasoned sales leader with over a decade of experience in the beverage and wholesale wine industry. Most recently serving as Regional Sales Manager at Uva Imports, she successfully led operations across the Western U.S., driving growth through retail authorizations, wholesale partnerships, and national account development. Previously, at Maverick Beverage Company, Samantha managed a high-performing team and was instrumental in generating over $7.5 million in annual sales while expanding the customer base across Houston and surrounding markets.

Her foundation in wine and spirits began in account management roles at Pioneer Wine & Spirits and Dionysus Imports & Rosenthal Wine Merchants, where she specialized in building strategic relationships and optimizing portfolios. Samantha also brings deep industry knowledge from her experience as a wine director and beverage consultant, paired with formal certifications from the Court of Master Sommeliers and the Society of Wine Educators.

A graduate of the University of Houston with honors in Hotel & Restaurant Management and minors in Beverage Management and Leadership, Samantha combines business acumen with a passion for wine, making her a dynamic force in the wholesale distribution landscape.
